How to Reschedule Your Tioman SpeedBoat Ticket

Reschedule up to 24 hours before your sailing via self-service or by contacting our team. No fee for the first reschedule — fare difference applies if the new sailing is more expensive. For changes within 24 hours of departure, contact us directly.

How to reschedule via /manage/

The fastest method. Complete a reschedule in under two minutes if you have your booking reference.

Look up your booking

Visit /manage/ and enter your booking reference number and the email or phone used during booking.

Select “Reschedule”

Choose to reschedule the entire booking. For group bookings, all passengers must travel on the new date — split bookings are not available.

Choose your new sailing

Select:
  • New date — must be at least 24 hours before your original sailing
  • New time — morning or afternoon sailings, subject to availability
  • New destination jetty — change from Tekek to Genting, Paya, ABC, Salang, or vice versa

Confirm availability

The system checks real-time seat availability on the new date. If seats are available, proceed to confirmation. If not, try an alternative date or time.

Pay any fare difference

  • New sailing more expensive (peak weekend, public holiday): pay the difference
  • New sailing less expensive: refund applied, subject to conditions
  • Same price: no payment required

Receive your updated e-ticket

Updated booking confirmation sent to your email. Your original booking reference stays the same; only the sailing date and time are updated.

What if my preferred date is not available?

If your new preferred date is fully booked, try these options in order.

Try alternative dates — one or two days before or after your preferred date usually has better availability.

Try a different sailing time — morning sailings often fill up faster than afternoon sailings on the same date.

Try a different destination jetty — Tekek and Salang are the busiest; Genting, Paya, and ABC often have better availability on the same date.

Join the wait list — contact our team to be notified if a seat opens on your preferred date.

Cancel for a refund — if no alternative works, you can cancel your booking, subject to our refund policy.
Groups of 5+

Group rescheduling.

Groups travelling together must move as one booking — partial rescheduling is not available.

  • All passengers in the booking must travel on the new date (no split bookings)
  • Original group seating block may not be available on the new date
  • Subject to availability for the entire group size
  • Contact our team for assistance with large group reschedules
When it's not possible

Reschedule limitations.

Rescheduling is not possible in the following circumstances.

  • Less than 24 hours before original sailing (unless operator-cancelled)
  • Already used the maximum number of reschedules (typically 2)
  • New date falls outside operating season (1 March to 31 October)
  • New date is during monsoon closure (1 November to 28 February)
  • Original booking is already cancelled — request a refund instead

Will my seat selection carry over to the new date?

SpeedBoats operate open seating — seats are not pre-assigned. Original group seating blocks may not be available on the new date and are subject to availability.

Can I change my destination jetty when rescheduling?

Yes. When rescheduling you can change to any Tioman jetty (Genting, Paya, Tekek, ABC, or Salang), subject to availability on the new date and sailing.

What happens if the operator cancels my sailing?

Operator-initiated cancellations (typically due to weather) are rescheduled at no fee and without standard cut-off restrictions. Our team will contact you to confirm a new sailing date. Your original fare is credited 100%.
